Butterflies are the epitome of beauty. For centuries, they have adorned the world through art — from ornate patterns on palace windows to exquisite embroidery on haute couture gowns. These delicate creatures begin life enclosed in a cocoon, only able to embrace rebirth by breaking free from their constraints. Their light and fragile wings display unmatched beauty, with mottled colors and intricate patterns that shimmer like gemstones under the sun. Though their lives are brief, butterflies always fly toward the light, savoring the freedom that follows transformation. It is this enchanting blend of elegance and resilience that fuels our creativity. Each time we witness their wings fluttering gracefully through the air, inspiration naturally takes flight.

The butterfly that inspired Prism is the Blue Morpho, known for it. When light touches its wings, it triggers a range of optical effects. To capture this iridescent brilliance, we applied a unique cold foil technique over a deep blue background, echoing the shimmering beauty of its natural wings. On the tuck box, we used vibrant colors combined with blue foil to simulate these optical phenomena. The deck’s color scheme is blue, with the back featuring the fragment of a Blue Morpho wing.
