Yokai Parade is derived from the classic Japanese folk legend Hyakki Yagyō (Night Parade of a Hundred Demons). Yokai refers to the diverse supernatural spirits in the legend, and Parade echoes the core imagery of the hundred demons’ nightly procession.
We have selected 50 classic yokai from Japanese traditional folklore and ukiyo-e art, reimagined as intricate illustrations on each card.

Shuten, the supreme demon king of Mount Ōe, commands all yokai with extraordinary charisma and domineering aura. The deck uses noble purple as the main tone, depicting Shuten-dōji’s classic image of wearing red robes and holding a wine jar, highlighting his unruly temperament and thousand-year-old demon legend.
