A British deck dating from around 1925-1950. The deck inside the box cannot be correct, as the card back design is different. However box and cards are both from the same era and card producer. The Ace is the key to dating the cards, though not very accurately. 52 cards. No jokers present. To verify the date visit here: https://www.wopc.co.uk/images/subjects/goodall/aces-of-spades.jpg
