Full Description

The CLASSIC pattern, designed c. 1959 by Paul Mathison for the Lanselle Co., show artworks inspired by classical mythology. The court cards are double ended with different designs on each end. The cards were published as a double deck in a blue box with a explanatory leaflet and also as single decks in a smaller box. The Deck contains 52 cards + 2 Jokers + 1 double sided printed scoring table for Contract Bridge and Canasta. Gold accents on the court cards and the backdesign were designed with copper etching.
