Made by Draeger-Freres for Philibert, featuring the designs of Paul-Émile Bécat, celebrated French artist known today primarily for his erotic work. It is similar in look and feel to the Philibert “Le Florentin” cards, also designed by Bécat, except that this deck has an original illustration on each card, while the 2-10 cards in the Le Florentin set are standard design pip cards.
