The deck about the French Revolution has hard-drawn indices with blue for the black suits. The aces say 1 instead of A. It has pictures of characters from the French Revolution on the aces, and on the court cards there are pictures of specific people involved in the revolution with quotes from them in French. There is a paper insert explaining who these people are (in French and English). The jokers are different. One with a picture of a character called a Muscadin, and the other a Merveilleuse. There is one more card which tells the illustrator and printer of the deck. The backs are one-way and the same as the back of the tuck box.
