Issued by Action Products International Inc. Printed in Hong Kong. Round cards with Mars on the backs, as taken by the Hubble Space Telescope 2 weeks after Earth made its closest approach to Mars during the 1997 opposition. The vast canyon system, Valles Marineris, stretches across the eastern (lower right) half of the image. The Pathfinder landing site is in the same area, close to the edge of the image.
