This deck is from the 2017 stock of Aristocrat Club Special casino cards used at the MGM Grand casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was decommissioned from the table of a dealer named Campos on February 3rd, 2017 at 10:30 PM. This gained special significance less than a year later due to controversy surrounding the motives of MGM Resorts after the October 1st, 2017 shooting of Manadalay Bay security officer Jesus Campos (relation unknown) by gunman Stephen Paddock. MGM Resorts housed Campos at their expense during the criminal investigation, and there were concerns of the gesture being seen as an attempt to sway his testimony to recount a favorable timeline of events.
