Conceived for the magicians Dave and Dan Buck, the English Laundry deck features the hand-drawn art of Christopher Wick, the renowned fashion designer of the English Laundry brand. A limited edition, the deck is poker sized, features silver metallic ink, and was printed on Bicycle stock. Released in 2010 to commemorate the launch of their new line of button-up shirts. All the court cards are hand-drawn: the King displays the picture of King Henry VIII and has the word “Arrogant” written underneath. The Queen is – supposedly – the hand-drawn picture of Queen Elizabeth I and has the word Elegant written underneath. The Jack displays the picture of Winston Churchill and has the word “English” written below. The deck also includes four custom Aces, two custom Jokers, blank faced gaff card, as well as a double backed gaff card.
