Replica of the 1540 deck by Peter Flötner as created by Rose & Pentagram Design in 2011. This deck was created in Germany and is nicknamed the poop deck by some historical hobbyists due to the content of some of the satirical cards which make fun of the bourgeois way of life. It includes several satirical images such a monk vomiting, scenes of farting, spanking and excrement. This 48 card deck used traditional German suits as well as unter and uber figures rather than jacks and queens, and omits aces. It was likely used for the lower class trick taking game Karnoffel which explains the images shown.
