The Second Edition of Artifice added a functional Bordered on the back to improve upon the deceptiveness of sleights requiring the alignment of cards, such as a Push Off Double or Elmsley count.  However, the purple from the 2nd edition does not have the white Bordered like the v2 blue and emerald, but instead a black Bordered with white face which limits the benefits of the second edition.
