IMPORTANT NOTE: The Silver Black Mass Edition is solid Black tuck with Silver Wording on the sides and the number of the deck written in Silver by LOTREK. The picture on this page of the deck is wrong, as it is the “Gold Black Mass” Tuck Box.

The deck will be printed by HalfMoonPlayingCards in Greece and will be ready to ship in December, just in time for Christmas! Printed on special stock with very shiny inks, it will be a piece of sheer beauty, despite its dark theme. Strictly Limited Edition of 606 decks in total, all of them hand numbered and discretely signed. The tuck case will be black foil on black stock. Absolute, shiny darkness!

Grotesk Macabre is the evolution of Grotesque, which was the UC2014 annual deck. Taking this deck as a starting point, I tried to create my own vision of the Underworld. Although a joyful and positive person myself, I had always been attracted to dark themed artwork. I find fascinating how artists throughout the centuries have imagined the world of the dead and how they dealt with the greatest fear of mankind. In Grotesk Macabre I tried to combine the darkest of all themes with the heavy elegance of baroque and the pointy, flamboyant Gothic art.
