Belmont Playing Cards are a collaborative project by Dark Arts Press, Jared Kopf, and Hanson Chien. With dynamic art and peerless paper quality, Belmont Playing Cards have just the right snap and finish, as well as images that seem to pop off the surface and enter the world. Influenced by the images in the Tarot de Marseille of medieval France, the pips are simple and vibrant, and the court cards reveal countless stories. Notice the eyes: they are looking somewhere. Notice the hands: they are doing something. Shuffle the cards, lay out several in a row, and simply ask, “What are they saying?” The cards will always deliver a message. Shuffle again, and the story will change.
