Cards are printed on thick 18pt stock, exceptionally solid in feel and 50% thicker than the standard Rider-Waite deck.

They are also coated with a tough, nonreflective, scratch-resistant coating that, while durable, is still exceptionally tactile and smooth. The surface feels similar to suede or a rose petal.

Exceptional water-resistance is a result of this coating as well as the high quality, thick paper stock. Don’t lose it in the ocean for a year, but a 10-minute soak in water revealed no adverse effects after drying.

Each card deck is also edge-painted black by hand, ensuring that every card you have has been personally finished by the creator.
