Funded as a Kickstarter project on July 21, 2019 with $20,052 pledged from 475 backers, the Blvck Spades (stylized version of Black Spades) decks are premium playing cards featuring Egyptian Kings and Queens, designed to help individuals learn to play the game of Spades. There were three variations released during the kickstarter: Blvck Spades (black and gold tuck case), Blvck Standard (red and gold tuck case), and Blvck Standard – Special Edition (white and gold tuck case). The Blvck Spades variation exclusively features marked Jokers and 2-cards to show the Big/Little and High/Low cards in a typical game of spades; the Standard and Special Edition decks are not marked this way.
