Longtime Playing Card enthusiast with many in my collection. Started with getting uncuts from Ellusionist.com, and remember my first Black Ghost deck and the reactions they got. I own a small Meadery (honey-wine) operation in northern Illinois. We don’t sell our liquids online, but we do have a small merchandise shop on Shopify. Names of our products, the branding, themes and designs all focus on Magic or Parlor games…my father used to take me every Saturday to a magic shop to learn tricks when I was growing up and it was a huge part of my life when young and into college…and of course now it has become a major component of the business I’ve built. Well anyways — after much work with our designer, we ended up developing our first deck of cards. It was a bit of a project, but I hope we can do more down the road. I don’t know if anyone here would ever be interested in them since they are branded around a meadery, but I wanted to show them off. We designed them with the highest grade stock offered by the USPC, and we went with a linen finish so they cards slide nicely for those who use decks for illusions and sleight of hand. I’d say if I have one regret, it would be not going with a very cool custom box a la Kings Wild Project….but maybe we’ll do a LE down the road.
