The Babylonians invented 13 zodiac constellation signs in the first half of the 1st millennium BC. Over the years the number of signs has reduced to 12, which are the ones we use on the daily. The name of these twelve signs are today mostly associated with horoscopic astrology, which are also the inspiration behind the design concept of the Constellation Playing Cards.
