Tempo is a deck series produced by the Ark Playing Card Company featuring Tempo Original, Tempo Lab Original, Tempo Plus, Tempo Lab Plus, as well as gilded editions of each. Funded via Kickstarter in 2021, these cards feature multiple innovative features in each deck designed toward cardistry usage. This deck, the Tempo Lab Plus, features the same mechanical style tuck box of its Lab Original brother, allowing the user to release the front flap and lightly pull toward the user, activating a folded mechanism that flips the remainder of the tuck upwards. This allows the cards to be slid toward the user and removed from the tuck. This tuck also features UV reactive ink which highlights purple when exposed to UV radiation. Otherwise, the standard and minimalist black and white tuck remains. This deck also featured inclusion within a custom, telescoping display box which included an aluminum UV light within.
