The Met has partnered with Lingo on one-of-a-kind playing cards inspired by the Museum’s vast and comprehensive collection of Asian art. From The Great Wave (ca. 1830–32) by the esteemed Edo-period painter and printmaker Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760–1849) to a kaleidoscopic Hevajra mandala from 15th-century Tibet, this deck presents highlights and hidden gems of the Museum’s renowned Department of Asian Art. 56 cards per deck. Collaboration between The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Lingo Playing Cards. The naming convention used by The Met appears to be in the style of The Met x [collaborator].
