Made in collaboration with the Eames Office. Eames Kite Playing Cards take inspiration from a tissue-paper kite designed by Charles Eames in 1950.
For our third edition of Eames Playing Cards, we took inspiration from a tissue-paper kite designed by Charles in 1950. The simplicity of form and whimsical color-scheme were drawn directly from the original artifact, a high-design toy which reminds us to “Take your pleasure seriously.”
Eames Playing Cards come in a letterpress printed box celebrating the house Charles and Ray designed and built.
