Inspired by Andrew Dougherty’s legacy and particularly by the design classified as AD1 in The Hochman Encyclopedia of American Playing Cards by Tom and Judy Dawson, this limited edition deck has been created for 52 Plus Joker, the largest playing card collectors’ association in the world. Designed by Elettra Deganello.

The Club Deck consists of 53 cards – 52 plus a joker – printed by Legends Playing Card Co. with cold foil on the faces and backs of the smooth-finish paper stock. The shape of the box pays homage to wrappers used before the advent of modern packaging items like today’s tuck boxes. Printed in Italy by Boschiero & Newton on high-quality cotton paper stock with gold hot foil and letterpress techniques, it features multiple layers and elements to discover. This exceptional deck embodies the charm of the antique while exuding a modern elegance, perfectly capturing the spirit of the fantastic playing card collectors’ club.
