Deck Details

Full Description

From an unknown space, we arrive at an unknown paradise. Lunzi brings you a brand new chapter—Zoo Deck. Here, each deck is an independent life story, together weaving an infinite dimension of nature and existence.

Zoo 52 consists of 54 images of animal wonders, magnifying the aesthetics of texture on paper. Most of the works focus on the upper body or torso of the animals, magnifying the texture of fur, wings, scales and skin to transform the texture of life into a perceptible visual language. Zoo 52 is not only an animal art encyclopedia, but also a ticket to nature—leading you into a secret realm where wildness and aesthetics intertwine, embarking on a journey of unexpected encounters with the origins of life.

A painting made with the same sincerity as always: The entire process was completed by hand with a dip pen, capturing the animals’ most authentic state with delicate brushstrokes and ingenuity: their fur and scales, their diet and habitat, their seasons, birth and growth… Each line carries the creator’s inspiration and breath, condensing into a tangible warmth.

One of the possible 54 animals which to be pulled from the Blind Mystery Deck.

Hyena – A yellow hyena, laughing perhaps – a tribute to Disney’s The Lion King.
