The kickstarter campaign can be found here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iancumpstey/ancient-and-modern-playing-cards A fully playable pack of cards with hand-painted full-figure named court cards based on the old Flanders playing card pattern I used different ancient and modern approaches to drawing the different aspects of these playing cards. The court cards were drawn in pen and ink on paper. The colouring was done with watercolours, separately, and then digitally overlaid. Other parts of the design were drawn with vector graphics. The design for the card back is based on gothic architectural elements overgrown by leafy branches, and the tuck box is a variation on that design
