Three hundred years ago, the scholar Pu SongLing wrote “Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio”, capturing all the warmth and coldness of the mortal world among fox spirits and ghosts. Many wonderful stories in the book have been passed down to later generations and become an immortal monument in Eastern literature. Three hundred years later, ARK explores Eastern fantastical aesthetics once again. With ink-wash as the charm and playing cards as the medium, combine with our proud ARK CASE, we present a highly narrative three-dimensional four-sided theater before your eyes.

Standard Edition
To extend the storytelling beyond the cards themselves, we created an upgraded cross-shaped pop-up theatre structure. Housed within a snake-skin styled outer tuck, the inner card box unfolds into a four-sided rotating theatre. As you open and rotate it, four legendary Liao Zhai tales unfold one after another. Every turn opens a gateway to a mysterious realm.
