Life is a game of chance, but now the deck can be rigged in your favor… Introducing the INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DECK – a set of collectible playing cards inspired by Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Produced in partnership with the forthcoming official Hitchhiker live theatrical show (opening in London November 2025), these cards have been painstakingly designed by nonsense artist and designer Jack Brutus Penny, known for his surreal and intricate storytelling through art. With his unique touch, each card captures the humor, chaos, and adventure of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy in extraordinary detail.

The Infinite Improbability Deck is a full-bleed, deck of art poker playing cards. Each of the 54 cards is adorned with original illustrations that capture the essence of the Hitchhiker universe. From the perpetually depressed Marvin the Paranoid Android to the two-headed, three-armed ex-Galactic President Zaphod Beeblebrox, every card is a minor masterpiece. The Courts feature iconic characters from the story, and they can be arranged into one full-length poster. The Numbers can be connected to form a message. The Back Design is the galaxy and journey our hitchhikers’ stories follow – done in holographic hot foil.

The tuck box is a double-layer construct. The sleeve is a black matte stock with a precision laser-cut graphic of the catchphrase DON’T PANIC on the front and an related item of the story on the back. This is the exclusive edition, with the back of the sleeve shows the iconic thumbs up. The main box is made of matte stock with two different holographic hot foil (mainly black, with gold on the spaceship and some small details). The interior of the box has a graphic art done in holographic foil.

The HOTBLACK DESIATO Edition is the Exclusive of the series. The back design is hot foiled with gold holographic foil, and the edges are gilded with the same foil as the back. The tuck box is black matte with gold holographic foil and black spot UV. The faces of the cards have holographic foil pattern.
