“Beneath the shimmering gate of Cinderleaf Castle lay Fernspire Forest and a woodland realm ruled not by crowns of gold, but by promises kept. The canopy rose like a green hall of banners, and the forest floor held secrets the way moss held dew. Every clan came here, because every clan needed what Fernspire grew. Ashroot was dug from dark loam and dried into tough straps, then boiled for a licorice bite that could warm a belly on cold marches. Fern was gathered in armfuls for cordage and cloth, and also for its healing virtue, crushed into poultices when pride and bramble both drew blood. Cinderleaf was the realm’s finest leaf, crisp enough to catch flame as if eager to serve, and prized as tobacco when dried and rolled. Rowanberries blazed like small lanterns in the undergrowth and were coveted as the sweetest specialty in all the land. Six fox clans shared the forest, each bound to a different truth of the world. The clans were not equal in coin, though each liked to claim equality in principle.” ~ A Tale of Six Clans

Woodland Legends is a tale about friendship, heart and courage.
The series is presented in 3 unique, gilded editions, all produced with special, herbage stock made from grass and leafy parts of plants:
Ashroot Gold, Cinderleaf Orange & Fernspire Green

Nestled deep within the woodland realm, you will find the ornamented designs of the aces. The shapes symbolize the organic nature of fox tails, fern spires, root and branches of the lush kingdom. Woodland Legends features a total of 18 woodland heroes. They are anthropomorphic foxes – inspired by Reynard The Fox and Disney’s Robin Hood.

The Cinderleaf edition presents itself in a tuck box manufactured with a special herbage stock and the Woodland Legends realm with embossed trees and hills that wrap around the tuck. To further enhance the design, a metallic copper foil is applied on numerous little details in the embossed art to add some truly eye catching highlights against the matte scenery printed on the raw tuck material.

The Cinderleaf deck has a strong color scheme for the card fronts, a unique card back color composition and a metallic, orange edge-gilding. This deck features the following 4 clans: (Cinderleaf, Goldtail, Willowstep and Ashroot). A total of 18 Woodland Legends characters were illustrated for the tale.
