An advertising deck for the Crumpler bag company. There are 52 different pictures, and two different jokers which are a design of three laughing exclamation points, one with the text JOKER and a star in red, the other in black. All the card faces are in full colour. The spades and clubs have advertising photos of the company’s bags – camera bags, messenger bags, backpacks, a computer case, a shopping bag, and so forth, photographed against a white background with the name of the product and its potential colours. The hearts and diamonds have a different piece of artwork for each card, with perhaps a psychedelic flavour but no consistent style or theme. These designs go right to the edges of the cards. The indices are superimposed in a standard way over the artwork, in the usual position. The backs are yellow with no Bordered, and the same picture as the front of the box, but a little bigger and bolder. They are smooth stock.
