The cards have custom pips, Spades being crossed swords; Hearts being a flower with a stem and stamen; Clubs being a triangle with a cross beneath; and diamonds being a diamond with a cross beneath. Spades and Clubs are black, and Hearts and Diamonds are green. There is a picture of a snake in the top right and bottom left of each card. Each card except the court cards has a mono-chrome drawing of something from the books, These are all different. The court cards are the same for all four suits with a line drawing of a king, queen, and jack. The backs are Borderless (Full Bleed), with the Ravenclaw crest, part of which is seen on the front of the tuck box. There are two different jokers, one with a dark mark, and one with the deathly hallows. The finish is plastic, and linen, and makes a sound when the cards move across each other.
