Full Description

The New Frontier – Las Vegas The second resort/casino built on the strip. Original name was Hotel (1942-1965). then The New Frontier (1955-1965), The Frontier (1967-1998), then The New Frontier (1998-2007). Allegations two mob bosses from Detroit were secret owners. Liberace played his first concert here in 1944. The Diana Ross & the Supremes played their last concert in 1970. Closed in 2007. Torn down in November 2007.
