Deck Details

Full Description

The Drowning World Poker Deck by Kahn & Selesnick, this edition limited to 200 total copies. This card deck, when laid out end-to-end, forms one continuous panorama. Weeds, Birds, Chimneys, and Icebergs replace the traditional suits. Printed with archival inks on fine art cotton rag paper, cut, signed and numbered by the artists. This is a fine art edition, similar in feel to hand-printed decks of the 18th century, and as such is not necessarily designed to withstand the rigors of daily use. We are planning to eventually produce a commercial version that will be printed on durable stock, numbered on the front, and have matching versos, making it more suitable for poker, solitaire, and other games of chance. Extra large size 4.5” x 3.125” x 1” in a slipcase and band. Please note: The box and card backs of this deck come in a choice of two different color schemes, a floodplain edition (yellow, aqua, and brown) and a lava flow edition (black, red, and ultramarine).
