The deck has 13 tips on saving energy, one for each index, and these are repeated in each suit. Ace through ten have simple line drawings with a verbal tip, and the court cards show the characters saving power. The Jacks are setting a thermostat to 20 degrees (Celsius); the Queens are turning off lights; the Kings are using low-energy light-bulbs. Spades and Clubs have turquoise faces, and Hearts and Diamonds have green faces, these being the colours of the BC Hydro logo. The printing is raised and textured on the smooth finished cards. The jokers are identical with the BC Hydro logo, and the words For more energy saving tips, visit bchydro.com. The backs are one-way with the circular logo large in the middle, the top half green, and the bottom half blue, with small versions of the logo in the upper left and lower right corners.
